Wellforce RN System Float Critical Care in Medford, Massachusetts
The MelroseWakefield Healthcare Float Team Registered Nurse is highly motivated, possessing strong clinical skills as well as a solid understanding of his/her role responsibilities as a licensed professional and member of the MelroseWakefield Healthcare Nursing staff. They will be assigned to work on Critical Care units but may be asked to assist in other areas as needed. The MelroseWakefield Healthcare Float Team was developed for the nurse who wants to works in different clinical settings and can adapt quickly to the work environment assigned.

We are looking for Registered Nurses with critical care experience that includes ICU or ED experience.
The MWH float team member may be floated to a unit other than those covered in the selected option to provide care with the roles and responsibilities of his/her position and within the scope of experience and skills as based upon the Synergy Model of Care principles.
The Registered Nurse adheres to the Board of Registration in Nursing rules and regulations, ANA scope and standards of nursing, the ANA code of ethics for nursing, MelroseWakefield Healthcare policies and procedures and other regulatory stipulations. The Critical Care Float nurse holds ultimate responsibility for the provision of nursing care to patients and their families in a variety of critical care settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care of patients. The nurse utilizes a problem focused orientation; integrates objective data with knowledge gained from an understanding of the patients subjective experiences; applies scientific knowledge to the process of diagnosis and treatment; and provides a caring relationship that facilitates health and healing. In collaboration with the multidisciplinary team approach, the critical care float nurse assists in the coordination of patient and family centered care.

Requirements: . Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred. Candidates without bachelor’s degree in nursing will be considered but must be enrolled in Baccalaureate program within 1 year of hire. Valid Massachusetts RN license. CPR, IV and ACLS certification.
