Collins Aerospace is looking for a talented Material Program Manager for Mission Systems Largo, FL or Marlborough, MA site locations. As an MPM you will be at the helm of the supplier management process, ensuring seamless and efficient operations. Your role encompasses developing and executing strategies to manage supplier risk and capitalize on opportunities, monitoring and driving supplier performance to meet and exceed standards. You will navigate and resolve supply chain concerns while ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, and warranty requirements. Evaluating and refining the make buy/make where (MB/MW) strategy to optimize operations.
You will serve as a crucial link between the customer, program management, and suppliers, ensuring that all material contract objectives (technical, cost, schedule) are met with excellence. Your extensive knowledge in procurement, contracts, production control, and logistics will be essential. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive program material strategies and managing the financial aspects of material requirements. Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities are a must, as you will inspire and drive the team's to success. This position is an Onsite role at either our Marlborough, MA and Largo, FL site locations with a preference for Marlborough, MA. This role does not provide relocation.
What You Will Do:
Responsible for customer communications and building a robust customer relationship
Supplier Claims/Request for Economical Adjustments (REA's) and mediation management
Conduct pre award Supplier Assessment (RESA) Establish Logistics strategy and capacity plan Reporting, tracking, and managing of an integrated product team and/or program responsible for the delivery of procured material from suppliers, through external testing, and shipment to contractual destination
Provide EAC content for Critical Program Review, including pre-proposal lead time validation and preliminary pricing for direct/indirect material
Conduct material contract closure activity alongside Contracts and Program Office
Establishes material priorities across the Integrated Product Team (IPT) and/or program.
Provides comprehensive Supply Chain support for Gates 2-11 activities.
Integrated Product Development Program (IPDP) compliance for the programs and tailoring when applicable - key activities typically include: financial management (i.e., EV, budgets, targets, working capital, material sales forecasts, etc.)
Act as the Control Account Manager (CAM) or support the assigned CAM
Establish Risk and Opportunities and Mitigation plans
Domestic travel up to 25%
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically required: Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations OR an Advanced degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Experience with Supplier management and/or Subcontract management
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Qualifications We Prefer:
Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities are a must, as you will inspire and drive the team to success
Experience with SAP/PRISM and the Supply Chain suite of tools
Knowledge of operational and manufacturing processes (assembly, integration, and test)
Experience in Earned Value Management or related financial management experience
Experience with supply chain and related systems, procurement, production control/material planning, receiving, cost estimating, logistics, and/or finance
The ability to develop & execute Risk/Opportunity plans to meet program objectives

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
