Description

We are offering an employment opportunity in Marlboro, Massachusetts, for a Sr. Accountant. This role is within our finance department and involves a wide array of finance duties, including transactional accounting, account reconciliations, and analysis. The Sr. Accountant will also be responsible for managing daily operating activities and month-end reconciliations and analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the setup of new vendors, ensuring proper vendor authentication

• Manage corporate credit card accounts

• Conduct weekly and monthly cash forecasting for accounts payable and receivable

• Administer weekly wire processing, including reconciliation of prepaids as applicable

• Oversee accounting for capitalized software development costs, including compliance monitoring, documentation, monthly cost recording, account reconciliation, and process improvement

• Conduct bank reconciliation, fixed asset accounting, and other general ledger account management and monthly reconciliations

• Assist in achieving department goals and objectives, focusing on continuous business process improvement, internal control, and financial analysis around capital spending

• Collaborate with Tax Manager to complete wire tax payments

• Prepare and review journal entries as required

• Ensure adherence to all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instruction

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.

• Applicants must have experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation.

• Mastery of Bank Reconciliations is a must.

• Experience with General Ledger maintenance is necessary.

• Candidates should be familiar with creating and managing Journal Entries.

• Proficiency in Excel is a prerequisite.

• Applicants should have experience with Month End Close procedures.

• Prior usage of Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly desirable.
