Infinity Family Care Medical Assistant/Front Desk Coordinator in Mansfield, Massachusetts

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant/Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our micropractice, with a primary focus on providing excellent customer service to our patients and supporting our medical team in delivering high-quality care. Responsibilities: Open and prepare office for patient arrivals. Greet, check-in, and room patients. Assist physician during examinations and procedures. Administer routine vaccinations/injections, obtain vital signs, perform EKGs. Clean and sanitize exam rooms and equipment between patients. Schedule tests, imaging, or consultations as directed. Answer calls, schedule appointments, address inquiries. Monitor and file incoming faxes, document activities. Review and respond to patient messages. Document interactions in messaging platform and EHR. Restock medical and office supplies. Track records requests and imaging tests. Conduct inventory checks and order restocks. Monitor billing platform, notify and track overdue accounts. Coordinate equipment maintenance or repairs. Track pediatric well visits and schedule. Maintain pediatric vaccine supply to maintain state compliance. Assist with data compilation and report generation. Review and update office policies and procedures in coordination with physician. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred. Previous experience working in a medical office setting preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help others. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proactive work ethic and strong problem-solving ability. Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in basic computer skills and electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and safety protocols. Willingness to learn and adapt to the unique needs and culture of our micropractice.
