Actalent Medical Practice Assistant in Malden, Massachusetts

A top Hospital in the Boston area is looking to bring on multiple Patient Access Representatives and are looking to interview ASAP.

Patient Access Representative

Description

  • Responsible for handling all inbound/outbound calls from patients

  • Assisting with scheduling appointments for specific Physician's offices

  • Other responsibilities will include entering patient information, demographics, and insurance.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of customer service/office experience.

  • Experience using computers and typing in a professional setting.

  • Work Ethic - They need people who genuinely enjoy work, show up early, open to working later, and are very reliable.

  • Strong work tenure at a recent employer.

  • Any ties to healthcare would be preferred as you're dealing with sensitive patient calls.

Work Environment:

  • This call center is rapidly expanding and was created to support patients who need appointments across various Physician's departments in Massachusetts.

Schedule:

  • Mon-Fri 8:30AM – 5:30PM (may vary)

Placement Type:

  • 6 Month Contract
