Wellforce Registered Nurse, RN, Medical Surgical in Lowell, Massachusetts
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced RN to work close to home in a Magnet-recognized, community-based hospital that delivers on our promise to provide Complete Connected Care. We are seeking a RN with at least 12 months of in-patient experience for a Medical Surgical Unit.
Hours: 32 hours: 11pm- 7:30am Earn high night differentials
MS2 is a 21 bed Medical Surgical Unit located at the Main Campus of Lowell General Hospital. The primary focus is caring for the medical specialties and complexities of our adolescent to geriatric population. A hard working, close knit team comprised of RNs, Patient Care Techs and unit secretaries, work collaboratively with multiple disciplines in assuring best outcomes for our patients. This is achieved starting with first encounters as our patients and their families are embraced as part of the MS2 extended family. Teams that work together play together, whether after hours or during the work day. MS2 staff are team players, supportive of each other never hesitating to open up to and include newcomers. In collaboration with Continuity of Care and our Hospitalist team, MS2 works together to create a healing environment that focuses on quality and outcomes and ensuring lasting impressions as our patients transition from inpatient back into the community. Qualifications:
MA licensed RN with BSN preferred but will consider a motivated ASN actively seeking BSN with anticipated graduation date.
Medical Surgical experience preferred will consider applicants, with at least one year acute/ subacute rehab experience.

RN candidates must be able to use electronic based charting systems. Cerner experience is preferred
Must have excellent time management skills

Unit Summary: M3 serves as the hospital’s orthopedic center, and has been recognized by Blue Cross Blue Shield as a center of distinction. The unit’s primary focus is orthopaedics as we care for over one thousand total joint replacements annually. This unit also specializes in spine care, and orthopaedic trauma. M3 consists of 26 private rooms and care for the aforementioned orthopaedic population, as well as adult acute care patients who have a wide variety of diagnoses and co-morbidities providing comprehensive care according to the scope of care defined by the organization and Massachusetts state regulations.
BSN strongly preferred
Orthopaedic Nurse Certification preferred
1-2 years of experience preferably in an acute setting is strongly preferred
Massachusetts RN license required
