Wellforce Registered Nurse, RN, Emergency Department Observation Unit in Lowell, Massachusetts

Seeking highly skilled and motivated nurses to join a team of caring Emergency Medicine healthcare professionals. The Emergency Department (ED) Observation area will be fast paced with high intensity of services and deliver the highest quality of care to our patients. Patients in this 8 bed observation unit located in the Main Campus ED will be med surg, med surg tele and step down levels of acuity with an anticipated length of stay less than 48 hour length of stay. This is a great opportunity for registered nurses with strong med surg, med surg tele and step down experience who would like to join an Emergency Department Environment. Qualifications:
RN Massachusetts license required
BSN strongly preferred
1-2 years Medical Surgical experience, telemetry experience strongly preferred
Must have excellent time management and communication skills
RN candidates must be able to use electronic based charting systems. Cerner experience is preferred.
BLS required and ACLS preferred
Additional education will be provided to all nurses hired into this role including CPI and TNCC. Further growth opportunity to ED RN is accessible through this professional tract
Hours: 36 hours per week: evenings. Every third weekend
