Lowell Community Health Center Immunization Coordinator (32 hrs) in Lowell, Massachusetts
The Immunization Coordinator ensures immunization program compliance for the Health Center with all federal, Vaccine for Children (VFC) and Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) vaccine requirements and is responsible for all vaccine management activities including receiving, handling, storing, and ordering vaccines.
He/she assures health care services for patients and families are reflective of Lowell Community Health Center mission and values. The incumbent works as part of the clinical team and assists in the continuity of health care for patients.
The Immunization Coordinator will have a high school diploma or equivalent. The Immunization Coordinator is a Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse. The MA will have noted successful completion of a formal MA training program with state certification is preferred. The LPN will have successfully completed an approved LPN program and hold a Massachusetts license.
