Community Healthlink Medical Assistant in Leominster, Massachusetts
Come join a friendly and diverse clinical team that provides quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Medical Assistant in Leominster.
The Leominster Adult Outpatient Center provides strength-based individual and group therapy to adults, and couples age 18 and over. We offer integrated, whole person care with primary care, a wellness program, and behavioral health. The Leominster Counseling Center also offers specialized substance use disorder treatment. Our office based opioid treatment offers buprenorphine and vivitrol treatment and we have a Second Offender Alcohol Education program.

Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height
Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician.
Prepare treatment rooms keeping them clean and properly stocked.
Perform EKG's, ear irrigations, and all other necessary testing as requested by primary care provider.
Reconcile medications and vaccines.
Schedule appointments for patients.
Work Client Registries via Electronic Health Record, Microsoft Access, or other databases.
Monitor the database to identify and reach out to those needing services.
Automate and perform processes by phone or send letters to patients either overdue for medical care or out of compliance with the goals of their care.
Responsibility to inform the care team if a patient is out of compliance consistently.
Meet regularly with multi-disciplinary care team (including Intensive Care Manager, Provider, Care Support Worker) to help create plans for specific patients and populations not achieving optimal care.
Work with other care teams including Practice Manager and Medical Director on quality improvement measures and process designs.
Collaborate and provide data to care team to establish population appropriate pre-visit screenings, assessments, and needs.
Create, maintain, and distribute results of QI measures around access, patient experience, and health outcomes to other care teams and management.

Grade C02: Medical Assistant I - Certification in Medical Assisting required
Grade C04: Medical Assistant II - Associates degree in Medical Assisting required
