High Lawn Farm, LLC* Distribution & Logistics Manager in Lee, Massachusetts
High Lawn Farm is seeking an experienced individual to supervise our distribution fleet, and team and oversee our delivery route logistics. A strong candidate will exhibit professional communication skills, display the ability to optimize efficiencies and lead by example. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: - Supervise truck drivers and coordinate fleet services - Analyze and oversee delivery route logistics and onboarding of new customers - Ensure quality control and safe food handling during distribution - Collaborate with the management team to identify methods to improve efficiency - Understanding of current state and federal transportation regulations - Maintain and enhance SOPs, route sequences, maintenance logs, and general records - Organize and conduct employee training, and performance evaluations - Coordinate distribution schedules and employee time off REQUIREMENTS: This position requires an understanding of diesel mechanics and maintenance, and a willingness to drive and deliver when necessary to provide support for the HLF Driver team (Requires early mornings and overnights). Applicants must have management and logistics experience, a valid driver\'s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift at least 45 lbs. Applicants must be able to pass a DOT physical, and background check. Preference will be given to candidates with distribution or fleet management and experience with vehicle telematics. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Wage is commensurate with experience and willingness to learn.
