Recovery Coach

Job Description:

The recovery coach provides peer recovery support services to clients with substance use disorder (SUD) accessing services through the CBHC, A/YMCI, or Adult CCS. The recovery coach, as part of a multidisciplinary team, facilitates patient access to substance use disorder treatment, resources and community recovery groups.

Responsibilities Are:

  • Provides clients with non-clinical assistance to support initiating and maintaining long-term recovery from SUD

  • Works with the client to address barriers to successful recovery, provide a range of person-centered and strength-based supports for long-term recovery management

  • Engages appropriately with clients to support them in identifying strengths, existing supports and community resources.

  • Serves as a liaison between the recovery community, the addiction treatment system, the medical treatment system, and the patient’s community, family, and social context to facilitate connections across systems of care

  • Promotes a patient-centered approach by supporting multiple pathways to recovery from SUD

  • Maintains ongoing patient support regardless of relapse.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Recovery Coach, required

  • High school diploma or GED, required

  • Valid driver’s license, required

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Schedule: Full-Time 40 hours Mon-Fri (4PM-12Midnight)
