Lawrence General Hospital Patient Safety Monitor in Lawrence, Massachusetts
Provides one-to-one observation of patients who have been deemed a safety risk to themselves and/or others; assists in the provision of a safe and clean environment; demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide a safe environment; provides assistance with activities of daily living, when appropriate; and possesses the ability to communicate observed changes in behavior / activity to the registered nurse. High School Diploma or equivalent and BCLS or Heart Saver certification required. Clinical work experience preferred.
Required training to be completed within 30 days:
• Completion of a certified crisis intervention training program
• Universal precautions and Infection control
• Seizure safety/protocols
• Fall protocols/prevention
• Restraints
• Suicide Precautions
