NEUCO is seeking Mark-out Technicians to join our team! Mark-out Technicians locate existing underground gas facilities, utilizing a wide array of electronic equipment, maps and records, internal/external procedures, and Industry best practices.
What You'll Do
Perform required tasks to locate existing gas lines
Complete all required paperwork
Identify problem locates and know how/when to initiate problem locate process
Maintain all industry required Operator Qualification tasks
Perform other duties as requested by leadership
What You'll Have
High School Diploma or GED Required
Experience working in the gas utility industry or locting utilities
Ability to understand and interpret customer as-builts and schematics in-order to properly mark out all facilities
Possess a clear understanding of Dig-Safe laws and regulations
Possess a clear understanding of Internal and External (Customer) procedures and protocols

Work Environment
Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions
All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English
Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling
Work is performed within the “red zone” of heavy equipment
Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
Legal Stuff
Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record is preferred
Pre-employment medical fit-for-duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card
