Lawrence General Hospital Director, Maternal Child Health in Lawrence, Massachusetts
The Director of Maternal Child Health is responsible for directing strategy and operations of the service line, including Labor & Delivery, Maternity, and Special Care Nursery, working in partnership with Medical Director . The Director will promote standardized systems ensuring that patient care needs are delivered in a safe and timely manner within regulatory standards resulting in quality care, satisfied patients, and accurate reimbursement for the Hospital. Other duties include preparing annual departmental capital and operating budgets, and working closely with medical staff and clinical leaders, and ensuring reliable standards. Candidate must bring innovations in practice, teamwork, and a focus on family-centered care. This position reports to the Senior Vice-President of Operations/Chief Nursing Officer.
Requirements include current Massachusetts Registered Nurse licensure. Bachelor's degree and Masters degree in nursing or healthcare administration required. Must have 5 years' experience in maternal child health areas of acute care hospital, and 3 years' management or leadership experience, prior director experience preferred.
