Deershorn Farm FARMWORKERS AND LABORERS, CROP in Lancaster, Massachusetts
1 Fulltime H-2A Seasonal Jobs available 4/1/2025 - 11/7/2025.
Plant, cultivate and harvest various crops such as, but not limited to, vegetables, fruits, horticultural specialties, and field crops. Use hand tools such as, but not limited to, shovels, hoes, pruning shears, knives, ladders. Duties may include but are not limited to, tilling the soil, applying fertilizer, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning and general use pesticides or restricted use pesticides under the supervision of a licensed applicator, picking, cleaning, sorting, packing, processing, and handling harvested products. May set up, operate, and repair farm machinery. Repair fences and farm buildings. Also, may participate in irrigation activities. Work is usually performed outdoors under hot or cold conditions. Workers may be required to bend, stoop, lift and carry 50 lbs on a frequent basis. Duties may require working off the ground at heights up to 20 ft using ladders. 1 month experience required in work listed.
Requirements: * One month experience of the duties mentioned * Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds * Exposure to extreme temperatures * Extensive pushing/pulling/sitting/walking, * Frequent stooping, and repetitive movements
