CompleteRx Ltd Pharmacy Technician (PRN) in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts
Join our team of talented healthcare professionals! We are looking for a PRN Pharmacy Technician to help provide exceptional patient care at a 265 bed public health and teaching hospital located in Jamaica Plain, MA. This position will assist as needed with coverage during the day, evening or weekend shift.
Pharmacy Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8am - 10pm
Saturday and Sunday, 8am - 4:30pm

Lemuel Shattuck Hospital is a fully accredited teaching facility that provides acute, subacute, and ambulatory care to patients referred by public agencies and private sector providers. The Hospital manages inpatient beds, and an array of outpatient services, including surgical services, 26 outpatient specialty clinics and comprehensive radiological imaging and clinical laboratory services. The Hospital's services help economically and socially disadvantaged patients to get high quality, cost-effective care from a staff that respects their dignity.

What You Will Do
Ensures procurement and distribution of drug orders
Identifies and fills replacement medications on emergency crash carts, OR carts and floor stock accurately
Prepares sterile products (including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition) accurately
Delivers medications and supplies to patient care and ancillary areas accurately
Rotates stock to ensure use before expiration date
Picks up orders, requisitions and medications for return from patient care areas when on delivery rounds
Enters charges and credits for patient medications accurately
Identifies and replaces outdated and unusable drugs
What You Will Need
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
State registration as required by Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy
Must possess current national technician certification or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire
One year plus hospital experience preferred but not required
Courteous, professional service to patients, visitors and staff
Good written and verbal communication skills
