Eliot Community Human Services Director of Clinical Development in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts
Eliot's Wraparound Division is seeking a licensed clinician with at least five years post licensure experience working with children, youth and families in clinical and administrative roles. The ideal candidate for this position is an individual with knowledge of Wraparound, Community-based Services, CBHI, DPH, DCF, DYS, DMH, Children’s Trust, and DEEC policies and services and how to implement on a systemic level.
Our Child, Youth, and Family Services encompass multiple service systems that include: Intensive Care Coordination, Family Support and Training, In-Home Therapy, Therapeutic Mentoring, Outpatient Therapy and Psychiatry, and Mobile Crisis Intervention. In all services, the youth and caregivers play a strong and active role in determining treatment and support options that will highlight the family’s strengths
Assist in ongoing development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and enhancement of clinical services across Children, Youth and Family Services
Collaborate with Director of Community Based Services, Directors of Youth and Family Services, Director of Juvenile Justice, Service Directors, Clinical Supervisors, Clinical Directors, Program Directors, Clinicians, and other program staff on initiatives to enhance clinical services.
Provide supervision and administrative oversight to assigned staff.
Monitor performance of assigned staff, conduct performance evaluations, and make recommendations regarding the hiring, discipline, promotion or dismissal of staff.
Assure the orientation of new staff to the Agency.
Identify and support clinical staffing recruitment and retention needs across programs. Participate in recruitment, interviewing and hiring of clinical staff.
Arrange and oversee appropriate level of clinical supervision for licensure for unlicensed clinicians. Provide this supervision as needed. Support licensing process for clinicians.
Identify career ladder and support opportunities for clinicians. Work with existing supervisors to support individual professional growth and development.
Create, facilitate and evaluate training and support systems for clinicians.
Arrange for and oversee appropriate placement and supervision for clinical and macro practice interns.
Serve as clinical lead and senior supervisor in collaborations, intensive learning communities, and other initiatives to enhance clinical services.
