This position will support a Primary Care practice at BILH The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) provides patient care services, including the assessment and management of patients in an outpatient environment while following established standards and practices as a Primary Care Provider (PCP). The NP/PA PCP is responsible for managing care for a panel of patients and works with an interdisciplinary team of clinical staff to establish medical protocols and treatment regimen. The NP/PA PCP collaborates with the physician in providing exceptional patient care with optimal outcomes. The NP/PA PCP provides an exceptional patient care experience through enhanced patient/physician communication. This individual ensures continuity of patient care in collaboration with other health care professionals and may assume additional clinical responsibilities within the department as needed.

Job Description:

Are you an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant currently practicing as a PCP and managing your own panel of patients? Beth Israel Lahey Health Primary Care (BILHPC) is expanding our AP PCP team and offers flexible work schedules, a very competitive compensation package with progression based on panel size, strong clinical and administrative leadership/mentorship, no night or weekend call requirements, and exceptional benefits. Current opportunities available in Beverly, Ipswich, Peabody, Amesbury, and Lynnfield.

Preferred:

  • 3 years of well documented experience as an Advanced Practitioner in the Primary Care setting

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a Master’s in Nursing program or a Physician Assistant program

  • Certification and current NP or PA license to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

  • DEA

  • MCSR
