Community Action Committee of CC&Islands Health Insurance & Care Medical Billing in Hyannis, Massachusetts
Health Insurance & Care Medical Billing Advocate needed to support consumers on Health Connector, MassHealth, and Health Safety Net plans to address their medical bills, understand billing statements and insurance benefits, and set-up payment plans when necessary. Required: Associates Degree or relevant health related certification required. Experience working with customer service or other client-driven fields. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with people of various backgrounds. Computer proficiency. Preferred: Knowledge of medical billing and public health insurance. Bilingual Brazilian Portuguese and/or Spanish preferred. This a temporary position lasting thru September 2023.
