Erickson Living Clinical Dietitian - per diem in Hingham, Massachusetts

Linden Ponds is a beautiful 108-acre continuing care retirement community located just 24 miles from Boston on the South Shore in Hingham, Massachusetts. We are hiring a skilled Dietitian to implement and maintains programs and systems of nutritional care for our wonderful residents. In this role, you are responsible for ensuring each resident's nutritional needs are met.

This is a per diem position.

How you will make an impact:

  • Develop and implement a nutritional plan of care based on assessment of nutritional needs as part of the resident’s/patient’s total plan of care.

  • Monitor and document the Continuing Care resident’s nutritional status.

  • Evaluate and instruct on nutritional principles, dietary plans, food selections and economics, adapting plans to the individual’s illness and prognosis as indicated.

  • Assure that all services and programs are in compliance with federal, state and/or local laws and statutes.

  • Maintains effective relationships with all department/interdepartmental members, residents and families.

Compensation: $40 per hour

What you will need:

  • B.S. degree from an approved program in dietetics or nutrition required.

  • Experience in health care food service management and clinical nutrition preferred.

  • Ability to work independently to complete assessments and plans of care in the required time frame.

  • Must have knowledge of and ability to utilize clinical and administrative dietetics including issues in persons with terminal illness

  • Employee will be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. State licensure as required.
