Acadia Healthcare Dietary Aide - 32 Hours (4 Days/ Week) in Haverhill, Massachusetts

Description

Assist in preparation and food set up for both patients and/or employees. 16-24 hour/week position, some weekend availability required.

Our hospital is in search of a Dietary Aide, with flexible availability to accommodate weekday and/or weekend scheduling needs.

  • Utilizing dietary production sheets, prepare and assemble by mixing and measuring all cold side dishes for patient trays within recipe compliance.

  • Using tray assembly as a template arranges cold items in an attractive and appealing manner.

  • Prepare and assemble by mixing and measuring house and supplemental nourishments.

  • Handle and transport food trucks to the respective wings. Pick up and return food truck to the kitchen after completion of meal service. Arrange the trays in the carrier unit for washing machine operation.

  • Maintain work area in a clean, orderly manner throughout the day following all sanitation guidelines as authorized by the state regulations, and the company’s Infection Control policies and standards.

  • Follow safety rules and regulations in accordance with the department and OSHA standards.

  • Wash floors and assist in other kitchen duties as may be indicated by volume or flow of work.

  • Remove accumulated trash from kitchen work stations and dispose of appropriately as per department policy and procedures.

Qualifications

Education

Required

  • High School/GED or better

Experience

Preferred

  • ServSafe or similar certification

  • Previous healthcare experience
