COLSA Corporation Senior Test Engineer in Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts
Job Description:
The TMAS2 team is searching for a senior cybersecurity engineer with requirements analysis, system architecture, DoD system/application Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) process, and systems test experience. This position supports the USAF Developmental Test & Evaluation (DT&E) of new and modified Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems and network capabilities within the guidelines established in Government approved test plans, procedures, and go or no-go criteria.
As a member of an integrated product team, the individual would develop and test advanced concepts that span next generation or new network capabilities for the US Air Force. This position requires motivation and initiative to support developmental testing in a dynamic high tempo environment. This position provides support to the CTG 96 at Hanscom AFB, MA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support the implementation and execution of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the NSA Crypto Certification processes to include system categorization, security control selection, Cybersecurity testing, risk assessment and system/Crypto authorization.
Support the Program Office CDT/TM in developing test programs requirements documentation.
Plan and participate in meetings, to include Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR), technical risk assessment, test readiness reviews, Deficiency Review Boards (DRB), working groups, telecoms, Integrated Test Team (ITT) and test Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM) / discussions.
Support the development and coordination of cybersecurity documentation to include system requirements, cybersecurity strategy, statement of work, Clinger-Cohen certification, and system authorization.
Create cybersecurity test strategies, identify test resources, and track risk factors to facilitate program acquisition strategies.
Support the development of overarching program test plans and roadmaps, to include the identification of risks (both technical and schedule), test resources, and schedules.
Coordinate applicable resources, activities, data, and documentation with Participating Test Organizations (PTO) and stakeholders as required.
Review and comment on acquisition and Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) documents including contractor test plans/procedures, collected contractor test data, test reports produced by the contractor.
Collaborate on cybersecurity test plans and other test deliverables.
Provide test strategy and cybersecurity subject matter expertise during test planning
Support test activities as requested by the ETO, PTO, Program Office, or other stakeholders.
Provide independent cybersecurity test support to the PM/ITT/CDT in coordination with other test organizations.
Provide technical expertise on cybersecurity T&E concerns in concert with other test organizations.
Participate in contractor and government test events.

Required SkillsRequired Experience
Required Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field and 10 years of experience.
Active Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)
Active DoD SECRET clearance
Work Experience with airborne network infrastructures, information technology, or C4ISR systems.
Familiar with DevSecOps and Agile software development practices.
Ability to work within system integration labs during test activities.
Good presentation skills to large and small audiences.
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite.
Analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
Good organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent self-initiative and self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Ability to work effectively in small and large team settings to solve complex problems.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Active and current DoD TS/SCI
Master’s Degree in a relevant technical field and 10 years of experience
Experience leading integrated process teams
Expertise with US Air Force test and evaluation methodologies and processes
Experience with IT and network infrastructures
Experience with commercial cloud-based infrastructures, platforms, and services
Experience with modern cybersecurity approaches for multi-level security, zero-trust, and data encryption
Experience with modular software architecture and Cloud-native applications or platforms
