Applebury Behavior Associates Inc Behavior Technician in Hadley, Massachusetts
We are seeking a dedicated individual that is interested in becoming a Behavior Technician or has worked as a Behavior Technician to join Applebury Behavior Associates. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Applebury\'s mission is to integrate clinical services into the community, to help children thrive to their fullest potential! Pay is based on experience. We will train the right candidate! Duties: - work alongside the BCBA - and support the program goals in place - Collect data on observable client behavior and take data for program development - work 1:1 directly with your clients - Collaborate with families and caregivers to support client progress - Maintain supervision and quarterly meetings Requirements: 18+ and high school diploma Pass a criminal background check - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus - Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles is a plus Willing to complete behavior technician training - Proficiency in data collection and analysis is a plus - Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality - Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team - Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and colleagues - Comfortable working with medical documentation and records Nice-to-Have Skills: - Experience working with children - Familiarity with patient assessment procedures - Knowledge of behavioral health practices - Ability to follow medical protocols for administering medications Joining our team as a Behavior Technician offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.
