Arbor Associates Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Great Barrington, Massachusetts

Arbor Associates is seeking a dedicated healthcare professional to join our team on a 6-month contract assignment at a specialized group home in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, where you\'ll have the opportunity to transform lives through personalized care and support. Position Overview This role offers more than just nursing care - it\'s an opportunity to build meaningful connections and enhance the quality of life for individuals who need your expertise and compassion. Working directly with residents in our supportive group home environment, you\'ll provide skilled nursing care to individuals with complex needs during either afternoon (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM) or overnight hours. Your Impact As a vital member of our care team, you\'ll create positive changes in residents\' daily lives through comprehensive nursing care and medical support. By monitoring health status, managing medications, and documenting residents\' progress, you\'ll help build a foundation for their wellbeing and independence. Your collaboration with our interdisciplinary team ensures each resident receives the individualized attention they deserve, while your expertise in maintaining healthcare plans and protocols creates a safe, nurturing environment where residents can thrive. Understanding Our Residents Our residents are unique individuals who, while nonverbal and experiencing intense but nonviolent behaviors, have rich inner lives and enormous potential for growth. Your patience, emotional intelligence, and dedication to understanding their needs will help them achieve their highest potential for independence and fulfillment. Job Requirements Ideal Qualifications We\'re looking for a nurturing professional who holds a current Massachusetts LPN or RN license and brings at least 1 year of nursing experience to our community. Your experience working with nonverbal individuals would be particularly valuable in this role. Beyond technical skills, we value your ability to communicate with empathy and work both independently and collaboratively.
