Overview Construct Center for Affordable Housing seeks an experienced Development Coordinator to strengthen individual giving, enhance donor engagement and provide in depth reports based on solid data. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our enthusiastic board, staff, and community ambassadors to increase investment in our mission and vision. Key Responsibilities - Strengthen Individual Giving - Cultivate relationships with existing donors to enhance engagement and support. - Identify and prospect for new major donor opportunities. - Database Management, gift entry, acknowledgements and reports - Ensure timely and effective acknowledgment of donations that are personalized to the donor and the initiative. - Increase individual giving at a percentage agreed upon with the Development Committee and Executive Director. - Development Planning - Collaborate with leadership to create a comprehensive and detailed annual fundraising plan. - Provide bi-weekly reports to track progress toward goals, identify successful strategies and duplicate them, while analyzing why others were less success and adjust accordingly. Qualifications - Proven experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, or related fields. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and stakeholders. - Familiarity with donor management systems and fundraising software. - Passion for affordable housing and community development.
