Construct, Inc. Development Coordinator in Great Barrington, Massachusetts
Organization: Construct Center for Affordable Housing Location: Southern Berkshire County, MA Position: Development Coordinator Employment Type: Full-time (Part-time considered for the right candidate) Salary Range: \$50,000 - \$60,000 annually (depending on experience) Mission To change and save lives through housing options and a continuum of related services. Overview Construct Center for Affordable Housing seeks an experienced Development Coordinator to strengthen individual giving, enhance donor engagement and provide in depth reports based on solid data. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our enthusiastic board, staff, and community ambassadors to increase investment in our mission and vision. Key Responsibilities - Strengthen Individual Giving - Cultivate relationships with existing donors to enhance engagement and support. - Identify and prospect for new major donor opportunities. - Database Management, gift entry, acknowledgements and reports - Ensure timely and effective acknowledgment of donations that are personalized to the donor and the initiative. - Increase individual giving at a percentage agreed upon with the Development Committee and Executive Director. - Development Planning - Collaborate with leadership to create a comprehensive and detailed annual fundraising plan. - Implement the Dev in FY 2026, including specific strategies for outreach and engagement to begin July 1st. - Provide bi-weekly reports to track progress toward goals, identify successful strategies and duplicate them, while analyzing why others were less success and adjust accordining. - Increase Organizational Capacity - Assess and address funding for the growing need for affordable housing options in the South Berkshires. - Develop funding strategies to enhance economic stability for low to moderate-income households. - Public Perception and Community Engagement - Work closely with the Communications and Content Manager to promote Construct\'s mission, vision, and priorities. - Strengthen community support through accurate messaging and outreach efforts. Qualifications - Proven experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, or related fields. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and stakeholders. - Familiarity with donor management systems and fundraising software. - Passion for affordable housing and community development. Compensation and Benefits - Full-time or part-time opportunities available for the right candidate. - Starting salary between \$50,000 - \$60,000, commensurate with experience.
