Job Description:
Addison Gilbert Hospital is a Primary Stroke Service Hospital. We serve as a primary point of entry for patients accessing this service. The department is staffed with at least one Emergency Medicine Board Certified Physician at all times. The ED is a 24/7.
There are 10 private exam rooms including 1 major trauma room, 1 major cardiac room, 1 ped/OB-GYN room, and 1 negative pressure room.
There is 1 Behavioral Health room and 5 other general exam rooms all, with cardiac monitoring capabilities
Triage are has 1 triage exam room and is staff by Access Services and ED staff.
Ancillary staffs utilized are ED Technicians and Administrative Assistants.

Requirements
This is a 30 hour a week, every other weekend and rotating holidays
MA RN, BLS, ACLS and PALS required
TNCC or ENPC preferred, to be certified within the first 6 months of hire.
Telemetry experience required
Emergency Room experience required
BSN preferred
The Team Leader role is a leadership position in Patient Care Services. Directs and provides developmentally appropriate nursing care to patients. Demonstrates a commitment to and performs in accordance with the philosophy, established policies, procedures, and standards of the Nursing Division and the Hospital. Acts as a role model to staff members, promoting excellence in patient care. Is able to effectively manage team work concept. Remains flexible in response to changes.
