Assistant Nurse Manager - Oncology

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Oncology RN to join the multidisciplinary team leading Cancer Services at Beverly Hospital and Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester, the Ambulatory Specialty Clinics at AGH and the BH IV Therapy team.

Will be an integral part of the hiring, on boarding and mentoring of new colleagues to the team; annual team competencies and skills fairs; staffing/scheduling/payroll; member of various department and organizational committees (Cancer Committee, Oncology Subcommittee, Oncology Leadership group, related Epic Workgroups, and unit-based council); opportunity for patient education, support of clinical research, and active participation in various accreditation surveys - both Commission on Cancer and Joint Commission.

Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Epic Beacon experience preferred.

Requirements: minimum of 3 years oncology nursing; current OCN, Massachusetts RN and BLS.
