Is your wound care career calling? Schedule: Typical clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Given our commitment to Finding, Treating, and Healing, this schedule can vary to accommodate and prioritize our patients. Who you are: An individual dedicated to creating Exceptional Patient Experiences with: A High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED); Associate’s degree preferred Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Certification in state of practice Graduate of a Medical Assistant program approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Program (CAAHEP) or by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) Passion for Wound Care, Wound Care experience preferred but not required Availability to work Monday – Friday standard daytime business hours What you’ll gain: Positively impact patients’ quality of life and see patients through their entire healing journey Comprehensive Clinical Wound Care Training Dedicated Clinical Leadership Resources What you’ll do: As a CMA, you’ll provide and coordinate the delivery of clinical and non-clinical services under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider. Other responsibilities may include but aren’t limited to: Assist the RN or LPN/LVN during the patient’s intake/discharge process Perform hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO), training is provided Coordinate with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census Assist the center’s staff with clerical services handled by Front Office Coordinators Please email Hannah Wells at hannah.wells@healogics.com for more information! The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $20.70 - $25 / hour. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications: education, experience, geography as well as operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.
