RN - Registered Nurse - Supervisor Job Summary: *Assist in directing and supervising the implementation of the resident care plan. *Regular rounding on nursing units to supervise staff, check residents, greet all new admissions. *Ensure staff follow facility policies and procedures. *Assist in creating a team-oriented atmosphere that enhances resident care and quality of life. *Monitor and assure that incidents, accidents and resident/staff complaints are reported and documented correctly. *Facilitate communication between licensed nurses and providers, responsible parties or outside vendors. *Assure complete and accurate documentation through spot-checking and on-going supervision. *Respond to, assist with and document facility emergencies. *Exercise hiring and terminating authority. *Assist in ensuring adequate staffing for the nursing department. *Discipline unit staff according to Human Resources and nursing department policies. *Supervise proper use of equipment. Recommend equipment and supply needs to Unit Supervisor. *Assist in direct resident care and work as a staff nurse, as necessary. *This is a brief overview of job responsibilities and not intended to be all inclusive. RN - Registered Nurse - Supervisor Qualifications: *Current licensure in the State of MA as a Registered Nurse. *Proof of COVID19 Vaccination AND BOOSTER Required. *Current CPR certification. *Minimum of 1 year\'s experience in nursing supervision or nursing management in Long-Term Care.
