Temporary Day Hab Nurse – Maternity Leave Coverage

The Arc of Opportunity is seeking a compassionate and skilled Day Hab Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our dedicated team temporarily, covering maternity leave from October 14th, 2024, to January 3rd, 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a temporary role within our MassHealth Day Habilitation Program, which supports individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving their fullest potential.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide direct nursing care and oversight to individuals attending our Day Habilitation Program.
· Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
· Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans and ensure the health and safety of participants.
· Monitor and assess the health status of individuals and communicate any changes or concerns to appropriate team members.
· Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with MassHealth regulations.
Qualifications:
· Current RN or LPN license in the state of Massachusetts.
· Experience in Day Habilitation, developmental disabilities, or related field preferred.
· Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
· Familiarity with MassHealth regulations is a plus.

30 hours a week
