Making Opportunity Count Inc Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Fitchburg, Massachusetts
BASIC FUNCTION: Making Opportunity Count is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the growing clinical team at our new outpatient behavioral health clinic in Fitchburg. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about providing exemplary care, restoring hope, and inspiring our patients and their families to live healthier, fuller lives.
Primary responsibilities will include psychiatric assessment and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults with a broad spectrum of mental health challenges.
Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited nursing program.
Licensed in the Commonwealth of MA as a Nurse Practitioner.
Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PSMH-BC)
Current MSCR and DEA registrations, or eligibility for them at time of hire
Unrestricted eligible for credentialing and privileging with Medicare and other third party pay sources
Ability to treat patients of various ages and clinical presentations, including pediatric and geriatric populations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to address individuals and information with a high degree of sensitivity and confidentiality in various delicate, formal, or urgent situations.
Experience and skill working as part of a collaborative team
Acceptable criminal background check.
Three or more years of experience in the outpatient behavioral health setting
High level proficiency with electronic medical record and e-prescribing workflows.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Full time candidates are preferred, but part time arrangements may be negotiable.
