Position Overview:
The Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily administrative and operational functions of the healthcare business unit, ensuring efficient clinic workflows, optimal patient experience, and financial sustainability. This position provides leadership for front-office staff, coordinates revenue cycle management, and ensures compliance with all regulatory and payer requirements. The Practice Manager works closely with clinical teams to support high-quality patient care in both Reproductive Health and Behavioral Health services.
This role in an in-person position with up to one remote day available per week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee billing operations for Reproductive Health and Behavioral Health services, ensuring accurate coding, claims submission, and reimbursement.
Ensure compliance with Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, and other payer policies.
Work closely with the billing company to monitor and resolve claim denials, rejections, and payment discrepancies.
Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in billing and coding procedures.
Stay up to date with changes in healthcare billing regulations and payer requirements.
Work closely with clinical staff to ensure accurate documentation and billing processes.
Serve as a liaison between the billing department, providers, and external payers.
Provide training to staff on billing protocols, office procedures, and compliance requirements.
Oversee front-office operations, including patient scheduling, check-in/check-out, medical records, and customer service to ensure efficient and welcoming patient experience.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient volume, revenue cycle, and operational efficiency, providing reports to leadership.
Oversee the use of Electronic Health Records (EHR) and other practice management systems to ensure proper documentation and billing accuracy.
Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and availability of essential materials.
Address patient concerns, complaints, and feedback, working to improve service delivery and satisfaction.
Act as a liaison between clinical and administrative teams to support seamless operations and high-quality care delivery.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in medical billing and office management, preferably in reproductive health and/or behavioral health settings.
Experience managing front-desk staff and administrative personnel in a clinical environment.
Strong knowledge of medical billing, insurance verification, and revenue cycle management. Familiarity with Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance billing.
Proficiency in EHR, medical billing software, and Microsoft Office tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for supervising a team of 2-3 direct reports

Compensation:
A salary within the range of $30.24 to $40.91 per hour will be provided to the successful candidate having met the minimum requirements for the position consistent with the MOC compensation philosophy.
