SUMMARY: Right Choice Health Group is looking for a qualifies Medical receptionist/medical Assistant position. We want to welcome you to join the Right Choice Health Group:We are an office-based addiction medicine practice with 8 locations throughout Western, Central Massachusetts area. We are seeking experienced Medical Assistant/medical receptionist candidates to perform various office and clinical duties efficiently. We train our staff with tools and evidence-based treatment protocols so that they become confident in helping patients with addiction. Office hours usually8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Some days are longer (8:30-7 pm). Work location: 2 days in Fitchburg office, 3 days at our Worcester office. We will prefer candidates from Fitchburg/ Leominster area. Once Fitchburg office gains more patients we will open more days in Fitchburg office. DUTIES: Cross function as receptionist and medical assistant Assisting with direct patient care for mostly opioid and alcohol addiction, taking vitals, supervise urines, phlebotomy Insurance verification, the collection of co-pays, prior authorization, and denials, obtaining referrals and discussing financial agreements with patients Act as a medical liaison between other medical/behavioral health providers and collaborate with the clinic physicians Update and maintain all patient EMR, scanning, filing able to handle medical releases according to HIPPA Compliance Taking care of upkeeps of the office daily and work in the front office such as answering phone calls and greeting patients as they enter the facility Intake Coordination Assist the office manager in maintaining the medical inventory and placing orders for new materials as needed Assisting in weekly community outreach according to supervisor's instructions. REQUIREMENTS: Graduated from a Medical Assistant Program with completed externship with addiction medicine field (preferred) Min 2+ years of experience is preferred. Strong customer service skills and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with EMR use Experience with insurance verification and prior authorization will be considered as a stronger candidate Spanish Speaking(fluently) preferred at some locations AAMA or RMA preferred CPR certified Phlebotomy experience is a plus
