The primary purpose of your job position is to assist in the planning, implementation, & evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional & spiritual programs, in accordance with the resident?s assessment & care plan, & as may be directed by your supervisors. Description Administrative Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, & directing the activity programs of this facility in accordance with residents care assessments. Abide by current federal & state regulations, as well as professional standards of practice, in order to assist with necessary changes in department policies & procedures. Participate in community planning related to the interests of the facility & involve the resident/family when planning objectives & goals for the resident. Observe resident attendance, mood, behavior, & degree of involvement in order to chart detailed notes regarding resident?s activity progress. Perform administrative requirements as needed including but not limited to forecasting the department budget, purchasing department supplies & clothing/personal items for the residents. Committee-Serve on, participate in & attend various committees & continuing education programs of the facility as required. Participate in regularly scheduled reviews of resident discharge plans. Assessment & Care Plan- Assist in developing comprehensive assessments of the activity needs of residents & develop a \"Plan of Care\". Review & revise \"Care Plans\" to ensure follow through & quality control. Maintain confidentiality of all resident care. Staff Development- Assist in the development of & participate in the orientation & in-service training programs related to the activity program. Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information. Report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information; & adhere to Resident?s rights Implement activity procedures & oversee residents engaged in scheduled activities as directed by the Activity Director. Perform other tasks as deemed necessary & appropriate, or as may be directed by the Activity Director. Qualifications Must possess high school diploma or its equivalent Must possess class C Driver\'s License Must be able to read, write, & understand English Proven ability to demonstrate the knowledge & skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the needs of the residents, family members, visitors, & personnel served with patience, tact, & enthusiasm. Must possess leadership ability, willingness to work harmoniously with & supervise other personnel, & possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Schedule Details: 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, E/O Weekend, holidays as scheduled Shift: Day/Eve Weekend Shifts: Every Other Holiday Shifts: Rotating
