Blount Fine Foods Prep Lead- 1st shift in Fall River, Massachusetts
Responsible for leading the Prep department in the efficient and accurate processing of divisional manufacturing ingredients; during their designated shift. In event of absence, position will be filled by adequately trained personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other responsibilities w/ similar skill and work conditions as assigned.
Assist with guiding, training, and leading the team to ensure the accurate and efficient processing of divisional manufacturing ingredients.
Responsible for accurate and efficient processing, while minimizing/eliminating the possibility of foreign material introduction into any products
Responsible for inventory accuracy within the department/area in which they are assigned.
Support efforts for the continuous and efficient operation of all departmental processing equipment.
Verify departmental HACCP, GMP, and Allergen guidelines are followed, and ensure integrity of all ingredients throughout the manufacturing process.
Ability to learn, modify and make adjustments to departmental equipment.
Ability to be a Coach, and create a positive work environment.
