Eliot Community Human Services Nurse Manager CCBHC in Everett, Massachusetts


Eliot’s Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC) in Everett and Lynn are searching for an experienced Nurse Manager to help support the program across the two clinics. The goal of Eliot’s CCBHC is to expand the impact of evidence-based treatments for underserved populations in the Everett and Lynn areas. This position will support Nurses and the direct care staff. The ideal candidate will have solid administrative skills, an ability to work collaboratively with teams and problem solving skills.

CCBHC emphasizes team based care that focuses on providing the services that best meet clients' needs regardless of their insurance status. CCBHC provides an integrated and comprehensive network of services to clients across the lifespan, increases access to care, & decreases barriers


  • Prepare, deliver and monitor consumer medications in accordance with Agency and DPH regulations, policies and procedures. Manage the maintenance and accuracy of all documentation and administration.

  • Participate in daily Team Huddles and Team Meetings.

  • Act as a case manager to consumer with medical needs, which include providing the specific interventions indicated on the consumer’s treatment plan.

  • Provide at least quarterly medical screening of all assigned individuals. Obtain individual weight, height, BMI and other aspects related to metabolic syndrome to establish a baseline. Identify individual preference for making changes as applicable in regarding medical conditions, nutrition, smoking cessation, exercise or other areas related to overall

health, utilizing motivational interviewing techniques.

  • Complete NOMS assessments as assigned.

  • Participate in the development of treatment plans for each individual in which you are a member of their treatment team.

  • Ensure that treatment goals are culturally competent, strength based, realistic, attainable and promote recovery.

  • Work alongside the Director and Psychiatrist in the development of trainings and in-services for staff members. Lead and delegate in-services directed at medical/psychiatric interventions, evidenced based practices, and responding to the needs of consumers.

  • Provide oversight, guidance and assistance to individuals with understanding their medical conditions. Meet with individuals and staff to discuss any medical diagnoses and conditions, causes, symptoms, complications, and treatment options.

  • Responsible for hiring all nursing staff as well as providing direct supervision and regular performance evaluation.


  • Licensed registered nurse in Massachusetts with at least a master’s degree, bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree in nursing with at least 2 years of experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses.

  • Must have at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory capacity. Must have the ability to work on a team that provides flexible community-based services.

  • Possess knowledge of psychiatric medications, psychiatric and medical treatment, medication policies and procedures, and have the ability to manage overall delivery of medical needs to clients. C

  • Demonstrate sound judgment and effective, solution focused, problem solving skills.

  • Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with clients, staff, co-workers and supervisor.

Schedule: M-F 9-5, flexible options

Salary: Starting $80,000, Negotiable based on experience
