Description:

$10,000 RN Sign-on Bonus! A registered nurse in Family Medicine holds ultimate responsibility for direct and indirect nursing care, including assessment, planning, coordination and evaluation of care toward the goal of maintenance and restoration for optimal functioning and comfort. The primary care nurse performs direct patient care and patient education to patients ages 0 to greater than 100 years in our Family Medicine Dept. and participate in QI activities. The primary care nurse takes a lead role in the prioritization, coordination and delivery of care by the practice team with a focus on social determinants of health, health promotion, and prevention and management of acute and chronic health conditions. Full Time position, Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00pm with evening rotations. May provide occasional coverage in Winthrop.

Education

  • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program. Licensure in Massachusetts as an RN. BLS certification Bilingual skills preferred.

Experience

  • 1 year relevant nursing experience in a community health and/or ambulatory care setting preferred.

Skills/Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally. Familiarity with the use of a personal computer in a Windows environment preferred.
