Housing Assistance Corp. Front Desk Administration in Dennis, Massachusetts
Summary/Objective To oversee & complete daily reception area duties of One Love Lane Shelter. While supporting the Program Director & Operations Director, maintain an organized & efficient work environment. Ensure seamless delivery of quality services that are compliant with agency standards & contractual requirements. As with all shelter staff the administrative/support worker is responsible for the development of trusting, supportive & respectful relationships with clients & maintaining a safe & secure work environment. Essential Functions General office duties Operate standard office equipment Monitor guests as they arrive or leave the property. Ensure all guests sign out when they leave & sign in upon return. Check badges upon each return. Issue badges for all guests 14 years old & up Answer phone & direct calls to appropriate staff Assist with the coordination of guest transportation Maintain reception area ensuring the area is tidy & organized at all times Clerical duties as assigned by Operations Director Direct outside agencies or vendors to appropriate locations or staff Additional Duties Assist other team members as required by supervisor Completion of any required paperwork & documentation for above functions Other duties as assigned by Operations Director Required Qualifications, Education, & Experience HS Diploma or equivalency Valid MA Driver\'s License Administrative support experience Knowledge of operating standard office equipment Proficiency in MS Word & MS outlook Excellent communications skills both written & verbal Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask Detailed oriented & comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications, Education, & Experience Previous experience in homeless shelter environment or human service field Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people
