AVAILABLE SHIFTS AND HOURS

We have full-time positions available (3p-1130p)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE REGISTERED NURSE- ADMISSIONS SPECICIALIST:

  • Facilitate admissions and assessment processes for incoming patients.

  • Provide accurate and ongoing individualized assessments of patient's status throughout admissions process.

  • Respond in a timely manner to inquiries about the facility within facility policy.

  • Collaborate on a daily basis with other facility medical and psychiatric personnel to ensure appropriate recommendations and admissions, while coordinating admission.

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.

  • Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by the state of Massachusetts

  • Previous psychiatric nursing experience is preferred

  • Intake/Admissions and/or Utilization Review experience preferred

  • Must have the ability to demonstrate critical thinking

  • Computer skills, including MS Office applications is required

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to problem solve and prioritize tasks

  • Excellent Oral and Interpersonal Skills

  • CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification preferred CPI (training available upon hire and offered by facility)
