AVAILABLE SHIFTS AND HOURS

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE REGISTERED NURSE- ADMISSIONS SPECICIALIST:
Facilitate admissions and assessment processes for incoming patients.
Provide accurate and ongoing individualized assessments of patient's status throughout admissions process.
Respond in a timely manner to inquiries about the facility within facility policy.
Collaborate on a daily basis with other facility medical and psychiatric personnel to ensure appropriate recommendations and admissions, while coordinating admission.
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:
Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by the state of Massachusetts
Previous psychiatric nursing experience is preferred
Intake/Admissions and/or Utilization Review experience preferred
Must have the ability to demonstrate critical thinking
Computer skills, including MS Office applications is required
Strong organizational skills and the ability to problem solve and prioritize tasks
Excellent Oral and Interpersonal Skills
CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification preferred CPI (training available upon hire and offered by facility)
