Position Summary:

Reporting to the Chief Technologist, the primary function and responsibility of the Lead Technologist at Beverly Hospital is the day to day MRI operation, including the interaction between all departments at the hospital. Under the direction of the Chief Technologist, the Lead Technologist ensures that staff technologists utilize their technical skills and training to ensure the safe and accurate operations of the MRI scanner. Under general supervision of the Chief Technologist and under the direction of a Radiologist, can perform diagnostic MRI/MRA on pediatric, adult and geriatric patients on designated areas of the body as requested by a physician.

Scheduled Hours

36 hours per week, 12 hour shifts



Must be a graduate of an Accredited School of Radiologic Technology. Upholds standards set by the ARRT regarding diagnostic procedures and professional ethics. A minimum of five years’ experience with two years of progressive responsibility is preferred.
