HMG provides a broad range of physician services in offices conveniently located throughout Western Massachusetts. Services include adult primary care, family medicine, pediatrics, and walk-in care. Our Walk-in Clinic in Chicopee, MA, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide appropriate primary care in the office setting. NP provides documentation in the patient record including medical history, current examination finds and any treatment plans; orders x-rays and other diagnostic studies as needed; cares for and repairs minor wounds; evaluates soft tissue and/or bone injuries for further treatment; prescribes medications and appropriate therapies with the consent of the physician. Must be knowledgeable about health education, health prevention and treatment. REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of Nurse Practitioner Program. Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Massachusetts. Three years in a Professional Nurse Practitioner role in an Adult Internal Medicine Practice Environment.
