Description:

Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Radiology Tech II to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators. The Radiology Tech II will operate radiographic equipment as required, to obtain diagnostic exams according to radiologist specifications.

You Will Be Responsible For :

  • Exceptional Patient Care : Responsible for the care and treatment of all age ranges of patients, to include pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric

  • Administrative Tasks : Perform a variety of tasks such as retrieving previous films, filing, answering phones, relaying messages, completing encounter forms and scheduling.

  • Strong Educator:

  • Technical Familiarity: Perform quality checks on equipment in accordance with department procedure, evaluate equipment problems and take appropriate action to expedite necessary service or repair.

  • Active Teamwork : Assist the radiologist in a wide range of sterile procedures

Requirements:

  • Education : Associates degree in Science or equivalent post-secondary education required. Must be a graduate of an accredited diagnostic radiography program

  • Licensure : A.R.R.T. registered and current State license in radiography and mammography required.

  • Experience : Minimum of two (2) years of clinical internship and two (2) years of post-educational experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to work well with others in a very busy, close environment as well as independently with minimal supervision. Must cooperate well with others by demonstrating flexibility and working in a collaborative manner to meet departmental needs. Considerable tact required in most duties to achieve results.

  • Certification : CPR certification

  • Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience : One (1) year of mammography experience
