The Radiology Tech II will operate radiographic equipment as required, to obtain diagnostic exams according to radiologist specifications. Top Reasons to Work at Trinity Health of New England: Great benefits tasks Patient-centric environment Career growth and advancement potential Diverse and inclusive culture You Will Be Responsible For: Exceptional Patient Care: Responsible for the care and treatment of all age ranges of patients, to include pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric Administrative Tasks : Perform a variety of tasks such as retrieving previous films, filing, answering phones, relaying messages, completing encounter forms and scheduling. Strong Educator: Technical Familiarity:Perform quality checks on equipment in accordance with department procedure, evaluate equipment problems and take appropriate action to expedite necessary service or repair. Active Teamwork: Assist the radiologist in a wide range of sterile procedures Requirements: Education: Associates degree in Science or equivalent post-secondary education required. Must be a graduate of an accredited diagnostic radiography program Licensure: A.R.R.T. registered and current State license in radiography and mammography required. Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of clinical internship and two (2) years of post-educational experience as a Radiologic Technologist. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to work well with others in a very busy, close environment as well as independently with minimal supervision. Must cooperate well with others by demonstrating flexibility and working in a collaborative manner to meet departmental needs. Considerable tact required in most duties to achieve results.
