The Donor Relations Officer performs a wide variety of project management tasks supporting BILH’s comprehensive stewardship and recognition program. The officer maintains strong and collaborative working relationships with colleagues from across the system, including frontline fundraisers, department and facilities administrators, and donors to support our philanthropic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage donor signage from concept to installation, including design, approvals, vendor coordination, and inventory tracking in database to ensure accuracy and transparency for frontline teams.
Support all current and future capital campaign to identify potential naming opportunities including levels for campaign giving levels. (Hybrid)
Job Description:
Support the development and implementation of donor recognition and engagement strategies for major and principal donors, assisting fundraisers and External Relations in creating meaningful stewardship experiences.
Support a donor-centric recognition program, including promotional materials and naming opportunities, to enhance stewardship and fundraising efforts.
Assist in managing the donor recognition signage process, helping with design, fabrication, and installation, and coordinating donor approvals with facilities and hospital leadership.
Maintain a tracking system within our database to catalog donor signage, naming opportunities, and public recognition, ensuring accuracy and transparency for frontline teams.
Manage the preparation and tracking of leadership acknowledgments for selected gifts across all BILH hospitals, ensuring they are meaningful and timely.
Assist in managing endowment reporting by coordinating with Finance and Operations to ensure transparency and compliance with spending policies.
Create and support personalized stewardship initiatives, including outreach and gestures to celebrate and deepen donor engagement.
Support the development and maintenance of policies and processes that promote a strategic, donor-centered Donor Relations team, contributing to best practices for stewardship and engagement at all giving levels.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
Licensure, Certification & Registration: N/A
Experience: 2-5 years related work experience required. Project management experience required.
