Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) Preceptor - Home Health

BAYADA Home Health Care is offering a unique opportunity for a Registered Nurse, RN with with a passion for clinical education! In this role as a Full-Time Registered Nurse Preceptor, you will train, coach and mentor newly hired RNS and LPNs. This exciting new role will work one-on-one with our nurses to ensure our clinicians are delivering exceptional care to adult and geriatric patients living in their homes in Boston, Braintree, Canton, Foxborough, and surrounding towns . In this role, you will also maintain a small caseload of patients. Previous Home Health Care experience is required.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

• Precept newly hired RNs and LPNs

• Provide one-on-one clinical training to all field RNs and LPNs during home visits

• Collaborate with the RN Clinical Manager and Clinical Educator to ensure ongoing staff competencies

• Perform assigned duties of the RN Case Manager, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures

• Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager

• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders

• Perform client assessments as necessary

• Case management and coordination

• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a touch pad tablet

Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current license as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program

• A minimum of one year of recent Home Health experience.

• Previous Precepting experience is a plus
