College background preferred. Experience supporting faculty and staff within a fast paced office setting, comfortable multi-tasking, and ability to follow through on tasks. Must be fully proficient using a variety of computer software including Microsoft Office applications, (i.e. Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and familiarity with internet research. Ability to work with a diverse constituency, handling sensitive, complex and confidential information. Must be able to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks. Ability to follow through independently and effectively on tasks; excellent interpersonal skills are essential to represent the department in a pleasant, diplomatic and positive manner. Experience with Harvard University Financial systems or working within academic environments helpful. Serves as central administrative contact and liaison for internal and external department constituencies as appropriate.
