Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Personal Trainer, you will:

  • Design Customized Workout Programs: Tailor fitness plans to meet the unique needs of each member.

  • Conduct Fitness Assessments: Perform fitness testing and assessments and provide insightful feedback.

  • One-on-One Training: Offer personalized training sessions and educate members on strength and cardiovascular training fundamentals.

  • Ensure Safety: Guide members on the proper and safe use of fitness equipment.

Work Schedule

  • Full-Time Commitment: Reach 30 hours/week or 6 hours/day.

  • New Trainer Support: Floor hours are provided to help you build a full schedule of clients.

Role Requirements

  • Certification: Current Personal Training certification from an industry-recognized and HealthFitness-approved provider.

  • First Aid & CPR/AED: Current Adult First Aid & CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, National Safety Council, or American Safety & Health Institute.

  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.

  • Personalization: Ability to create tailored programs that meet individual needs effectively and safely.

  • Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity.

Compensation

  • Competitive Pay: $38-$45/hour during personal training sessions.

  • Pay Based on Experience: Compensation is dependent on your experience and qualifications.
