Sodexo Patient Services Manager (Dietitian) in CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for their Patient Services Manager 1 position at Cambridge Hospital, located just north of Boston in Cambridge, MA . This is a 120-bed inpatient facility which is part of a three hospital system (Cambridge Health Alliance). In this customer focused role, you will be responsible for conducting performance improvement and quality assurance programs targeted to help improve patient satisfaction in relation to the meal experience. The ideal candidate will be a Dietitian, having knowledge of therapeutic diets and have a passion for the well-being of their patients.
Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the Patient Services Manager will:
Be energetic, focused, and innovative while continuously improving the patient’s meal experience;
Participate and direct the patient meal service operation and conduct daily meal rounding;
Ensure proper meal assembly procedures are in place and provide staff training and mentoring;
Be responsible for the management of 10-15 frontline staff including the scheduling, performance reviews, training, and mentoring;
Provide rotating weekend coverage (every 3 rd weekend).
Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:
Registered Dietitian credentials and are licensed in MA (or in the process of obtaining both);
Strong verbal & written communication skills with a focus on customer service;
The ability to work well independently and as a team;
Good time management skills, flexible, and is a self-starter; and
The ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff.
