Robert Half Accounting / Financial Associate in Cambridge, Massachusetts
Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting / Financial Associate in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This role is crucial to our client's organization, providing support to our finance department by coordinating both internal and outsourced services. You will be instrumental in facilitating investment, accounting/tax, philanthropic, and strategic planning services for our client's multi-generational family office.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process ad hoc client banking and financial requests
• Input accounting data daily and monthly into QuickBooks, adhering to established guidelines
• Support the finance and operations function for both clients and the overall enterprise
• Reconcile internal data with external vendor data to ensure accuracy
• Maintain and structure internal data and documents for easy access and reference
• Prepare and input tax data into CCH Axcess
• Support the finance group through the preparation of underlying data needs
• Monitor and manage customer accounts, ensuring timely action is taken when necessary
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications with precision
• Work with leading law and accounting firms to provide comprehensive tax planning, filing, and management services.
Requirements
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounting or Financial Associate role.
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Demonstrated capability in performing Bank Reconciliations.
• Solid understanding of the General Ledger.
• Experience in creating and managing Journal Entries.
• Familiarity with the Month End Close process.
• Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounting tasks.
• Experience with Oracle accounting software.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks for managing financial data.
• Experience with SAP for accounting and financial operations.
